Make Money While Travelling as an Employee
The first is making money while traveling as an employee.
1. Working For a Company as a Freelancer
You will work either online or offline as a freelancer for a particular company. You can travel to a place that you like and work comfortably from there.
It will basically be a freelance job where you will live in a low-cost location in a particular city and earn good money working online. Your job could be anything from writing and editing articles to doing research on the stock market to website designing.
As a freelancer, you are not bound to go to an office. You can travel to your favorite holiday destinations and work from there.
For example, in my case, I went to Kerala and worked there as a freelance writer while traveling through the backwaters of the state.
The nature of the job will depend upon your employer. Whatever they tell you to do, you have to complete the task accordingly. It really doesn’t matter where you live.
You get to choose a job around your interests which is very flexible and gives you an opportunity to travel and grow your career.
2. Working as an Employee in an Oversees Location
While working for a company you will be asked to visit an oversee location for work-related purposes.
As an employer, you gain access to local discounts and workers’ benefits in a fun city. After completing your work you can take part in fun activities like scuba diving, skiing, gliding, rafting, etc.
You also get a chance to explore the city while you are visiting. You are more likely to work in a social environment (like a beach, or bar) rather than in an office cubicle.
Working Independently Online
Instead of working for a company, you work independently and make money while traveling.

Later you can monetize your blog with contextual ads and generate revenue.

Similarly, you can create a YouTube channel and upload videos. Travelers who love coming on to camera can record short traveling videos and upload them to their YouTube channel.
There are hundreds of successful & most subscribed Youtubers in India who are making tons of money by uploading new videos on different niches. They get millions of views for each video. Their subscriber base runs in thousands and even millions. They are making thousands of dollars each month.
In fact, for many travel vloggers, the affiliate programs available in India is their full-time job now. You can get inspiration from them. But you shouldn’t entirely copy them. Try your best to create unique and entertaining content.

You can also increase your income by selling online on your blog/website and YouTube channel.
Once your blog and YouTube channel start getting an audience you can sell various products and merchandise related to your traveling niche online.
You can do all of this while traveling and having fun.
If your YouTube channel is a big hit then you can also become a brand ambassador for a company and promote their products on your channel.
You can also sell your own tutoring material, how-to guides, travel guides, etc on your blog to people online and make money.
